An analysis in the variety of inspections to identify and remedy typical defects within construction industry and the most common knowledge gaps found resulting in incomplete diagnostics for buildings in Hong Kong will also be presented. Various concepts will be highlighted throughout the day, together with case studies and facilitated group discussions to stimulate knowledge will be shared among delegates This course provides an overview on how to undertake a building survey and write a report through practical examples and real-life case studies.         Learning outcome After attending this course, you will be provided with practical knowledge that will help you to improve building surveying related activities such as writing reports and providing services to your clients. The expert will also analyse the most common gaps of knowledge that result on incomplete diagnostics of different types of commercial properties.     Learning objectives   The course has a very practical approach based on real survey situations and market examples with the aim of consolidating all the concepts explored during the day. He has been the RICS APC assessor/chairperson since 2005.
