The Rockland Business Women’s Network will host the first ever Rockland County Online Holiday Shopping Expo from December 5th until December 9th. The event, which will be located at www.rocklandshopping.com, will offer every business in Rockland County the opportunity to showcase their products and services online to thousands of consumers in time for the holidays.
There will be opportunities to support local retail businesses, service businesses, restaurants, and non-profit organizations. Online booths will be offered at reduced prices for businesses that are members of the Rockland Business Women’s Network, any of the Rockland County Chambers of Commerce, and the Rockland Business Association. Businesses that are not members of one of the participating organizations are encouraged to join one, or they can participate at a slightly higher rate. Fees range from $50 - $150 for booth space. Businesses and nonprofits that would like to participate should visit www.rocklandshopping.com and fill out the form and read the FAQs. Payment is due after membership is verified with one of the various organizations.
Admission is free for shoppers who can peruse the show at their leisure over a five-day period, 24/7 and they will be able to select specific booths to visit or use the robust search capabilities, browsing by category, search term, or price range.
“We are excited to bring this unique shopping platform to businesses across Rockland for the first time. It is a wonderful opportunity for Rocklanders to shop local this holiday and find businesses that they may never have heard of before. What better way to spend your holiday dollars than by buying from a local business owner at this challenging time,” states Risa Hoag, President of the Rockland Business Women’s Network. “We are excited to have not only the support of the Joint Chamber Alliance and the RBA, but County Executive Ed Day and Economic Development Director Jeremy Schulman. We are looking forward to making this a win/win for businesses and consumers across Rockland.”
