This class focuses on making and studying scenes from our favorite musical theater plays, movies, and Broadway shows. We will build scenes and make dances in collaboration with the students, inspired by songs from current pop culture and the classics like Singing in the Rain, Grease, and the Best of Broadway. We will incorporate beginning acting, musical theater jazz, tap, and ballet basics into the dances. This session culminates with an opportunity to perform in our December and June studio shows. No prior dance experience is needed. All levels welcome.
