Join us on the 3rd Thursday of every month to share your music with the community! Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy live music featuring our local talent - be sure to invite your friends, audience encouraged.

Open to WCS members to perform for a live audience and local expert judges. Monthly winners are eligible for the finals to win a chance to perform in front of industry professionals at the Annual Songwriter's Conference.

AUDIENCE: The public is welcome to attend for FREE and experience great local music by our talented local groups and musicians. Light refreshments will be served. If time allows, non-members may also perform, and contestants are welcome to perform again - sometimes even judges will belt out a tune!

To join the West Coast Songwriters Association, please visit www.westcoastsongwriters.org - or you can join the night of the competition! Sign in is at 6:30pm and please bring three printed copies of the song lyrics for the judges.

Best song wins 2 hours of recording time at Mars Studio in Aptos.
Best Song of the Month Runner Up: Gift Certificate from one of our valued local sponsors!

Best Song of the Month wins an invitation to compete in the Playoffs for Best Song of the Year and a chance to compete in the Finals. Additionally, Best song winner will be on the WCS YouTube Channel as a featured artist. Video file (not YouTube link), song title, location and short blurb with link to website/Facebook should be provided to info@westcoastsongwriters.org

Past Prizes: studio recording time, professional website, gift certificates to local music stores, and professional photo shoots.
