      Alpaca Yoga is back!!

Alpacas may cause stress release & serious relaxation!  Come join us on our urban alpaca farm, in Brooklyn Heights,  for a 1 hour yoga class in the "mommy and baby" pasture (followed by 1 hour of alpaca interactions!)  with my herd of 100 beautiful and curious alpacas (several babies, we call them crias, arriving in the next few weeks!)  They are adorable and OHHHHH so soft!!  Exercise your mind, body and soul amongst the most gentle of animals, alpacas! Our instructor, Candace Kolson, comes from Chagrin Yoga, and she is VERY experienced to lead both beginner to advanced yoga students!  Candy is certified in many different styles of yoga training.... you can't go wrong with her!  Yoga increases strength, flexability, improved breathing, and stress relief.  After class, get "up close and personal" with the alpacas  and learn about our 3rd generation farm history plus all the  husbandry and wonderful secrets of the alpaca life style,  as we touch, hold, kiss and admire the alpacas.  Bring your mat, water ( or drink of choice) and don't forget your camera! Be ready to smile and be filled with the joy that animal interactions will bring. A very unique experience allowing you to connect with the land, animals, and each other.   All levels welcome.  We will be offering monthly passes (8 classes) , and season passes ( 32 classes)also.  Inquire by Calling as this add is only selling a 1 day session.  OFFERED WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY EVENINGS!!  The practice of yoga has a number of benefits. It:*Increases mind/body awareness*Improves strength, flexibility, range of motion and balance*Calms the mind, reducing stress and anxiety*Slows heart rate*Lowers blood pressure*Increases blood flow*Boosts immunity*Improves respiration*Strengthens and tones muscles*Improves function of internal organs*Detoxifies the body*Balances muscular system*Increases metabolism and energy*Improves quality of sleep DIRECTIONS:  Some folks have had a hard time finding the farm.  Be assured that 4933 Schaaf Lane, Brooklyn Heights, is the correct address.  Schaaf Road is NOT Schaaf Lane!  We are the very last driveway on the right, BEFORE the railroad overpass!  Do not go through the tunnel! Look for the yellow "alpaca sign" at the top of Schaaf Lane, and the yellow alpaca sign at the end of our farm driveway.  Please park off to the side against the fenceline.  Enter at man door, marked ALPACA EVENT HERE.  Call if having trouble.  216-276-9405. Kim Dont forget to look for our other farm events this season!  Paca Paint Night,  Paca Picnics, Wine and Wonder Tours, Alpaca Stargazing, and Fiber spinning/crochet/knitting workshops!     FAQs  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?  I would PREFER that all attendees are at least 15 years old and can remain focused in a 1 hour yoga class.  I will allow younger participants as long as they are not disruptive to the purpose of this class.  Younger participants may be asked to leave if they can not stay focused on the event at hand.  All are welcome, but this is NOT a petting zoo, it is a breeding farm and adult subjects may come into the conversations. :)  What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Parking is free.  Please park against the fenceline behind the blue mini cooper.  Trucks must be able to get by in the driveway.  Thank You! What can I bring into the event? Please bring your matt and water bottle.  I wear long pants and sleeves on the farm because I hate flies.  You can bring clothes for after yoga... remember, you are on a farm!  Bring shoes approriate for the farm!   How can I contact the organizer with any questions?  My name is Kim Rassi, my number is 216-276-9405.  Feel free to call with any and all questions or concerns!  What's the refund policy?  No Refunds,  In case of class cancellation due to rain, you will get an email from me, and the option to reschedule on another date of your choice.  Call me with questions.  Kim 216-276-9405 Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? no, I have the attendance list printed.  Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable? sure.... I don't have a problem with that!  Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? yes.
