Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream
The magical, moonlit groves of Shakespeare’s beloved A Midsummer Night’s Dream have charmed audiences for centuries. It is in these woods that four young lovers become caught in a quarrel between the king and queen of the faeries. When a group of local itinerant actors are mixed into the madness, the comical snarl of spells seems impossible to unknot. But only a little more magic is needed and, as Puck puts it, “all is mended.” This captivating production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, by Off Broadway Corona Theater directed by Patrick Brien, is sure to charm and delight.
