LINDA DRAPER with Jeff Eyrich & Eric Puente on the Salon Stage ? No Music Cover

Enjoy live music and rotating art exhibits in a cozy setting!

While growing up in a musical household (her father is a classical guitar virtuoso who studied with Andres Segovia), Brooklyn-based Linda Draper listened to everything from Bach to Bop from an early age before moving on to writing her own songs and playing guitar.

By the turn of the 21st century, Linda Draper immersed herself in the “Antifolk” Music scene in New York City. In 2001, she recorded her debut album, “Ricochet,” with Kramer (Galaxie 500, Will Oldham, Daniel Johnston, Urge Overkill). Their partnership continued with her next three LPs, including Linda’s debut album on Planting Seeds Records, “One Two Three Four.” In 2007, she recorded “Keepsake” with Major Matt at Olive Juice Music. in 2009, Linda returned with her sixth album, “Bridge and Tunnel,” produced by Brad Albetta. Linda Draper’s seventh album, “Edgewise,” produced by Matt Keating, was self-released in 2013 and released on vinyl by Planting Seeds Records.

Linda’s latest album, "Modern Day Decay,” also produced by Matt Keating, was engineered by Grammy Award-winning engineer Geoff Sanoff at Little Steven’s studio, Renegade Nation, in New York City, and independently released in 2016. This album features Jeff Eyrich on bass and Eric Puente on drums. For this show, Linda will be joined by Jeff on upright bass and Eric on stripped-down percussion.

Linda has forged her own musical path for the last two decades, leading to tours in the US and UK. She has opened for Melissa Ferrick at the Towne Crier, Luka Bloom at the City Winery and Teddy Thompson (The Enterprise Club), among others. Her music was selected for Starbucks’ in-store music playlist, licensed for a national commercial campaign, and featured in the Emmy Award-winning documentary “Forgotten/Found.”
